Planning & Zoning

The Planning and Zoning office is rooted in safety, aesthetics, and overall community well-being. Our goal is to guide the City's development by taking into account residents' values, economic trends, and infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities
  • Review of Plats and Site Plans.
  • Planning for future needs by outlining strategies and long-term goals.
  • Addressing and mitigating negative impacts of development projects that could jeopardize the environment, safety, or overall well-being of the City and its residents.
Zoning & Land Use
  • Rezoning applications, Variance requests, Subdivision of property, or other questions regarding land development can be addressed with our office.
  • You can view a property's zoning through the Hamilton County GIS system. To verify the current zoning, contact City Hall.
